Flames smiled in twisted pleasure as the human screamed and released her. She took a light, casual step back and reached for the wall. Any movement she made was masked by the struggle across the tunnel. It was the bumpy side of the tunnel, but she found a smooth, sticking out spot to rest her hand on. She pulled back towards the wall. Not soon enough, though; another of the humans grabbed her hand. The gun disappeared from her finger and Flames clenched her teeth. A light came on up the tunnel. Flames squinted against it. She hadn’t realized until now how adjusted to the darkness her eyes had become. She twisted her arm in his grasp, hating her tiny size again. She wished she could guard her eyes, but he was making sure she was blinded. Her gaze went past the man for a moment to the tiny blond behind him. The soul from before. Here. With them. Flames mentally swore. She was with them. ”Traitor” Flames hissed at her.
She jerked down with the human when he bent to other human she shot. In the brief moment before he turned the gun to her, she evaluated a million strategies, none of which would have worked. "We don't take lightly to our friends being shot." Flames glared daggers at him, stopping herself from trembling. Humans were so…brutal. He turned it elsewhere, though, and she did not show her momentary surprise. Realization dawned almost immediately. Wild. He was pointing it at Wild. She felt a little bad for the other Seeker, but mostly relieved. "Let's see how you feel." Ah. This was supposed to her “feel how we feel” moment. The gun fired. Flames did not turn to look at Wild. She put on a pleasant smile. ”Interesting demonstration.”

Ian rolled around on the ground kicking in hope of kicking on of the seekers. He opened his eyes and saw Wanda over him. He smiled as good as he could but he felt it come out like a grimice. He held his chest tighter, feeling the blood oozing out all over his clothes. It hurt so bad. He tried to move his head up but he could feel the bulett roll inside him and he muffled a scream into the dirt. No one should hear him.

Mel gritted her teeth against the pain, as if refusing to make a sound would get the pain to go away. He grinned at her and she glared back. The pain in her arm intensified. She realized that the SOB was twisting the knife. Jeez. He really was angry about that pipe.
The light came on up the tunnel, but Mel was to busy trying to push away from the Seeker. Jared began talking and Mel was glad it was him; otherwise she would never have been able to pay attention the conversation. He sounded calm, which was good. They must have had control of the little one. "Let's see how you feel." Mel turned her head, saw the gun, and realized what he was going to do a split second before he did it. She jerked away from Wild, pushing on him with a foot too as the gun fired. Mel could actually feel the bullet fly past her arm it was that close.
It hit the Seeker. Mel shoved on him at the same time he let go of her, and the momentum pulled him all the way to the ground. She stepped back, grabbing her elbow with the other hand. Finally Mel turned to look at her friends and saw Ian on the ground. She stopped herself from exclaiming with some difficulty. Wanda looked like she had it covered.

Wanda quickly pulled Ian's shirt up to look at the bullet wound. It was tiny, but even so it was close to where his heart was. She touched his face lightly. "Shh, Ian, don't move." She murmured and flinched as he screamed into the dirt and the bullet fired. Wanda registered what the Seeker had called her early and what she was saying to Jared. Her moved pressed into a tight line as she resisted the urge to speak her mind. She quickly leaned closer to the wound bringing the lantern with her and placed it so the wound was clearly showing. She looked around. No tweezers, how was she suppose to get the bullet out?
She looked at her fingers and search through Pet's memory. Slivers. If it is fresh you can get it out by squeezing. She looked down at him and thought. If the bullet was small enough, and not lodged into something, she could probably get it out like that. She placed her hands on his chest and squeezed gently, nothing happened so she applied more pressure. The blood stopped coming out as quickly and a tiny gold bullet came out with the blood. She grabbed it before it could go back in and placed it beside her. Her eyes went down to her hands, and quickly looked away grabbing the clean and sprayed the wound.
She poured some heal over it and watched the blood stop flowing. She tore a piece of her shirt off and wiped access blood away from the wound. Wanda placed some seal onto the small bullet hole before putting smooth on it. She sighed in relief when it was all over and looked over to Mel before the Seeker. Standing up she held the heal up, silently asking Mel if she need the Heal. Of course even if she didn't want it, she'd heal the big Seeker's hand before Mel's arm. She didn't want the Seeker to bleed to death. Mel could take care of herself if she absolutely needed some heal.

Jared stared at the smaller Seeker with his mouth slightly open in a disbeilving face. "You little bitch." He murmmered before walking over to her and picking her up by the back of her shirt and bringing her over to the larger Seeker and forcing her face to look at him. "That's you're fault you know." He whispered to her before picking her up again and bringing her over to where Ian and Wanda where. "Wanda can I just kill this one? She's a complete b-she's not a good soul. She wouldn't make a good soul anywhere else." He said correcting his words so Wanda wouldn't get upset over his choice of words.

Flames cringed as the human grabbed her. She didn't help him to move her. He took her chin and pushed her towards Wild. Flames instinct was telling her to cry and fall down. She also wanted to just run as fast as she could. Flames watched Wild. He had gotten the worst of it. Her eyes stung, partly for the violence against him, and partly for the pain in her jaw right now.
Her face remained completely impassive. Flames was such a good Seeker because she ignored her weak instinct. "Wanda can I just kill this one? She's a complete b-she's not a good soul. She wouldn't make a good soul anywhere else." The little soul must be Wanda. Flames mind connected the dots. The brunette who had been Wanderer was obviously human now. Wanda was similar to a short version of Wanderer. The soul was obviously working with these humans. And what the man had said...they were shipping souls away? She would have just presumed they would have destroyed them.
Flames looked at the blond, "Wanda," her face still unreadable. Her voice was critical when she spoke, as if she was just asking a trainee why they had chose a certain option in a certain situation. "Why?" Flames asked. Then she used her least favorite problem solving strategy: she collapsed.

Wild watched as the man picked up Flames and held her in front of him. He closed his eyes so she wouldnt have to look for long. He heard the muffled sound of his voice but he couldnt make out any words. He saw Flames being pulled away and held up. He saw the man yelling but he couldnt hear anymore. He closed his eyes once more and opened them just in time to see Flames collapse. He gasped and held his hand tighter. What had they done to her? He slid his hand into his pocket and tried to use the wall to sit up. He sucked in a breath when his hand knocked into the rock and fabric in his pocket. He looked around, alert , andd tried to scoot away as quietly as he could.

Ian waited while Wanda healed him. He held his breathe when she pinched the bullet out. He sighed when it was all over and sat up. He felt the stretch of muscles in his chest and gasped at the slight pain. He had felt worse though. He assessed the situation and stood up. The tiny seeker had collapsed and the other seeker was inching his way into the darkness. He lunged for the bigger seeker but stopped short. His chest still hurt. He took another step and reached for the other seeker. He pulled him up on his feet and held him there. He stared athim in anger. He tried to think of something to say but he was a t a loss for words. "Wanda, Lets get him healed." he sadi behind him, tightening his hold on the seeker.

Mel pressed against her elbow, glad that there was nothing to worry about for her clothing--this shirt was already ruined from when the tiny Seeker shot her. She did wish she had longer sleeves, though, so she could soak up the blood. It wasn't that bad, though.
Mel shook her head when Wanda offered the Heal. "Get him first," she said, nodding towards large Seeker. He looked to be in much worse shape then her. Mel leaned against the wall, trying to tune out Jared. The way he was right now was understandable, but it reminded her too much of how he had been back when Wanda was in her.
When the tiny Seeker collapsed though, Mel jumped forward. She couldn't help but have vivid memory of another soul saying the exact same thing before falling. Mel's hand flew away from her elbow and to the Seeker's wrist, wondering if they had lost another human. But no...there was definitely a pulse there. Mel relaxed. She had just fainted.

Wanda stared at the little Seeker when she fainted and saw Mel jump forward to check her pulse. Her attention was stuck on the Seeker. That was the second time they asked her why. He attention snapped towards Ian when he said that they should heal the bigger Seeker. Nodding she picked everything up and moved over to where Ian was standing with the Seeker. Looking at him she catiously picked up his hand and found the bullet had wedged itself through and was almost all the way out of the other side. She gulped lightly before pulling it out and quickly sprayed it with clean. "She fainted, they aren't monsters." Wanda whispered to the Seeker her focus on his hand as she poured almost all the Heal onto the wound before it finally stopped bleeding. She put the Seal on and watched the wound finish closing.
Looking at Ian she placed her hand on his arm she smiled softly. Turning around she sprayed Clean onto Mel's shoulder before using the last of the Heal in the bottle on her shoulder before wiping some seal.
