BACKGROUND: 6 years ago, Claire first heard of the invasion. She was in college at the time. She was in Australia visiting her mom (were she was born in. I forgot to mention she was Australian). The seekers attacked their home in the middle of the night. Her mom was to slow ad couldn't get away. Claire got a ticket back to Seattle. Her room mate, Katie, had been in inserted. Katie almost took Claire when she went to pack her stuff. Claire Knocked her out long enough to pack the rest of her stuff. She ran for the hills, literally. She stayed in a hidden cabin she had found in freshman year.
She stayed there for a few months until one of her best friends who she had shared the cabin with turned her in. She hid in a small hole until the Seekers had gone. Then she ran. After a week of walking and driving a stolen car she made it to the middle of Oregon. She Hated this entire thing. She was alone and couldn't stand it. She stole another car and drove to Sacramento. Their she stayed in her brothers basement hidden. Her brother had been inserted and was a seeker, which made living their extra dangerous. After staying their for about 2 years, stealing food when he was out of the house, she left unseen.
Or so she thought. She was captured and inserted into her was a soul who took her name. She resisted the soul for 3 years until the cave rebels took the soul out of her and she became alive again. She lived in the caves for a year. Wanda came about 2 weeks after she had got their and she hated her. A year later the seekers are surrounding them and her hate for them has grown even stronger.
