From the back of the van, Mel watched Wanda get pulled out. Adrenaline surged through every vain in her body, numbing everything else. Since she was trying to not be seen, Mel couldn’t watch what was going on. However, it wasn’t hard to imagine. The Seekers would be holding their guns at Jared, Jared holding his at Wanda, and Wanda would be quaking from the natural fear.
”Oh. You mean the burnette. Yea she's dead.” God, was he a good liar. His voice sounded perfect. Mel winced when he said it, half believing that she had become a ghost without realizing it.
In the commotion of Wanda struggling, Mel slowly, silently, carefully, slipped open the far door, the one no one but her could see. She eased out of the car, keeping crouched on the ground. Mel couldn’t even feel her feet hit the dirt, she was so nervous.
*Wild, and Flames, and Jared, and Wanda

Wild's eyes narrowed. He knew humans could lie, and lie good. He stared at the blonde girl with the gun to her head. She was to terrified to be a human, and if she was one, she was a weak human. He pulled back on the ready trigger, cocking it to be prepared. He stared at the van and took a step towards it but also to the side.

Wanda stared at the male Seeker. Fear in her eyes. It was fear for Mel. Did she get out already? Or was she still in there waiting for a better moment. Wanda gulped as she heard the gun being prepared and shivered harder.

Jared scoffed. "You Seekers actually think that I'd put the body in plan site?" He said before pushing the gun harder into the side of Wanda's head. "You can look in the van, but if you do. This little worm dies. Do you want that kindof blood on you're hand?" He said in a mocking voice tightening his grip on Wanda's shoulder.

Flames hissed. It was, of course, possible one of her shots had hit the girl, but she didn't want to believe it. She wanted, needed, to know what had happened to Wanderer. Was she still a soul in there? Had the human boy she wore taken control? Or was Wanderer completely gone, ripped out by the humans? If Flames could never speak to her, she would never know.
Noticing Wild out of the corner of her eye, taking a step away from her, Flames balanced it by taking one step closer to the man and the girl. To make sure the blond really was a soul, Flames pulled a light out of her bag one handed and shined it at their faces. Sure enough: one pair of reflecting eyes. "You can look in the van, but if you do. This little worm dies. Do you want that kindof blood on you're hand?"
Flames held up a hand breifly to Wild. The human did havea good bargaining chip, but he also might have just revealed part of his hand. "Oh? Is there something there you don't want us seeing."

Mel squeezed her lips together, holding her breath, making no sound. The Seeker in the sensible shoes was getting closer to the van. As slowly as she could make herself, Mel lifted one foot and took a step back, to the front of the van. If he did see her, it would be a pipe versus a gun—not much of a match. ” You can look in the van, but if you do. This little worm dies. Do you want that kind of blood on you're hand?” Mel gave a tight-lipped smile. Thank you, Jared. The threat made him sound more ruthless than she ever wanted to hear him, but it could also save her. ” Oh? Is there something there you don't want us seeing.” The voice was surprising, especially after the boots Mel had seen under the car. It was the kind of voice that would triggered her instinct to go “oh, wook at you! You’we so cyooowte!”if it hadn’t been so cold. Mel’s heart went out to the little girl whose body had been stolen

Wild stopped when Flames held up her hand. He had to obey. He looked through the curtains, trying to see anything moving but saw nothing. He looked back to Flames. He took a steo towards her and blindly grabbed a cartrage for his gun. He swiftly changed out the old one, replacing it with the new and fully loaded one. It took no more than five seconds to complete the process. He would need every bullet he could have if it turned into a shoot out. He took a step away from Flames, still poiting the gun towards the man. The soul he held was trembling hard. She was afraid, but what was she doing with them. And where was the brunett girl now. Was she really dead? He dimissed the thought and concentrated on the man.

Jared chuckled as the small Seeker thought that he was hiding something. "Nope, well there is a bloody lead pipe, from when I smashed that stupid worm's head in." He said smiling evilly before sighing. "I'm bored, let's have some fun." He muttered smriking and whispering "Sorry, I have to get them closer." into Wanda's ear. He brought the gun lower so it was pointing at her arm and pulled the trigger. He bit the inside of his cheek from wincing or going to help Wanda. He held her tightly so she stayed upwards.

Wanda's eyes widened and her heart sped up as he annouced he was bored before apologizing to her. The cold metal moved from her head and was pressed against her arm. She heard the loud bang of the gun before the pain. She screamed out in pain and started to struggle away from Jared more. The pain was too much for her small body and she fainted.

Flames smiled when Wild switched his cartrage in five seconds flat. He was good, very good. And obidient. She smiled. "I'm bored, let's have some fun." Her smile was cut short. Fun? Flames did not appreciate the human's sense of fun. She tensed.
It was only her extensive training that stopped Flames from reacting when he shot the poor, tiny soul. The poor girl just couldn't get away, and eventually, she colapsed in his arms. Flames held up a paciying hand towards the human, taking a few steps forward. "Hey! Don't do anything rash. We are willing to negotiate." Lies. But Seekers were trained to be excellent liars.
