Wild Water Currents walked intot the police staion which now was the seekers office. He checked in with the attendent, giving her his name and host's name. He smiled when she waved him through and he walked to the unlocked door and entered. He looked around and saw the desks and computers that the seekers used for their bisuness. He sought out his desk and found his name plate. Stupid human set up. he thought. He put his coat over his seat and searched for the break room. His eyes rested on o coffee machine through an door and he headed towards it. He was only 16 but he needed some more enegy. He walk in and grabbed a cup, imediatly filling it up with coffee and adding sugar and cream. He hated coffee that was bitter.

Flames Looked out the glass wall of her office at the other souls critically. Although most human ideas were so ridiculously idiotic, she did have to admit she enjoyed some of them. For example, giving the head of a department the larges office with the best vantage point. Two of the walls to her office were entirely glass: the one behind her, which showed a gorgeous view of Phoenix, and the one in front of her, through which she could see all of her employees.
Another human idea she enjoyed immensely was office chairs; the one she was sitting on was comfortable, and the height could be adjusted so it was tall enough for her crossed ankles--looking excellent in shiny black boots--to rest on the desk.
With a sigh, Flames tossed the papers she had been looking at onto her desk and stood up. She had requested files for all disappearances anywhere near the midwest of the country, but so far she was getting nothing from them. Flames left the office and headed to the break room where she saw a soul she did not recognize. Setting her favorite mug under the hot chocolate machine--installed just for her--she turned to the other soul. "Are you new here?"

Wild turned around at the voice. In front of him was a girl. He recongized her at once as the head of the department. He stood up straight from where he was and put down hi coffe. "Oh no. I am not. I was a seeker on other planets."he said, looking over the girl. She was small but he could tell she was high on the status pyrimid.
He picked up another packet of cream and poured it in. Then he poured another suger. He took a sip of his coffee and then set it down. "I'm Wild Water Currents. "he said. He held out a hand to her.

The hot chocolate machine finished filling her mug. Flames took two packets of sugar from beside the coffee machine and ripped them open with her teeth. "Oh no. I am not. I was a seeker on other planets." Flames didn't look up, but watched the white powder stream into her cup. She had heard from others before that they had never seen anyone put sugar in hot chocolate. Flames liked her drinks sweet, though. She took a sip from the mug, smiling at the perfect flavor.
"I'm Wild Water Currents. " Flames looked up and set her chocolate down. She took his hand and hook it firmly. Flamed tilted her head slightly. "Have we met before? Fire planet?"

Wild took another sip of his coffee. "Ah yes. I spent a life term or two there. What's you name?"he said, surprised. He hadnt expected to meet another person from the fire planet here. The only reason somebosy would have left is if the didnt want to settle in, or it was to violent. This girl seemed violent enough. She was head of the department so she had to be tough and hard.

Flames smiled victoriously at his affirmation. "Orange Flames over the Wide Plains," she told him, "but I go by Flames here, for simplicity's sake." Flames was already moving on to thinking about the humans again. It seemed like she spent nearly all her time dwelling on them now. She wished she could get the reports to fit together. "So, Wild Water Currents, what are your special skills?"

Wild smiled."It's nice to meet you Flames."he said. He emptied his cup and reached for the lever to fill it up but stopped. Instead he filled it up with cold water and took a drink from that. It was cold and it was a rush from the hot he had just consumed.. "I'm a great shooter and profiler. My host wanted to be in the FBI but never got the chance. But he did learn how to profile." he said, grabbing an ice cube to keep his water cold.

Flames nodded. She could relate easily to learning from her hosts, though she would never admit it. "A profiler, huh?" Flamed took another sip from her mug, and stared a Wild's face thoughtfully. "How would you like to take a little field trip? There's a crime scene I could use a profile for."

Wild raised an eyebrow at her. A crime scene. He filled up his cup again, but with coffee again and sweetened it up. He walked over to the door and said, "I would be happy to. Lead the way."he motioned towards the exit nicely. He quickely grabbed his cap for his cup and smiled.

Flames drained her hot chocolate and set the cup in the sink, knowing someone else would wash it for her. "Lead the way." She smiled sympathetically as he walked out. "Well, actually, this scene just so happens to be in Tuscon. If you'd still like to go now, though..."
((sorry, no muse at all))
